These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the ShidduchMatch website (www.shidduchmatch.org), published by the ShidduchMatch association, a non-profit organization.

ShidduchMatch is a dating site intended for Jewish singles who wish to build a lasting Jewish home.

2. Acceptance of the Terms

Registering for and using the site constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the site.

3. Registration and Eligibility

To register, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be single (never married, divorced, or widowed)
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information
  • Respect the site’s values and ethics

4. Use of the Service

ShidduchMatch offers:

  • A matching algorithm based on religious, cultural, and personal compatibility
  • A secure messaging system between compatible members
  • Guidance from professional matchmakers (Premium plan)

You agree to:

  • Use the site in a respectful and honest manner
  • Not post offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate content
  • Not use the site for commercial or fraudulent purposes
  • Respect the privacy of other members

5. Subscriptions and Payments

ShidduchMatch offers several plans:

  • Free: Limited access (5 matches per month)
  • Premium (₪89/month): Unlimited matches, full messaging
  • Premium + Matchmaker (₪179/month): Personalized guidance from a dedicated matchmaker

Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You may cancel at any time from your personal account area.

As a non-profit association, ShidduchMatch is exempt from VAT in accordance with applicable legislation.

6. Liability

ShidduchMatch strives to offer compatible matches but cannot guarantee the success of any meeting. The association shall not be held liable for:

  • Personal decisions made following a meeting
  • The individual conduct of members
  • Temporary technical interruptions

7. Termination

ShidduchMatch reserves the right to suspend or delete an account in the event of:

  • Failure to comply with these Terms
  • Inappropriate behavior or harassment
  • False or misleading information
  • Fraudulent use of the service
